Naidu Sets March Deadline to Resolve Andhra Pradesh Land Disputes
The Andhra Pradesh government says it has solved 232 old land disputes.
These disputes involved about 31,000 acres of land.
Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu wants all remaining long-pending disputes settled by March.
He told officials to work honestly and visit villages to hear people’s problems.
Officials must also review thousands of applications involving land marked as prohibited.
New land records will be protected using blockchain technology.
The government is also promoting solar power and job training for young people.
Naidu set a goal of full literacy by 2027 and asked for safer schools and better healthcare technology.
The Andhra Pradesh government has cleared 232 land disputes involving about 31,000 acres valued at nearly Rs 5,000 crore.
Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu directed officials to resolve all long-pending land disputes by March and warned of zero tolerance for corruption.
Officials must dispose of 2,918 prohibited-property applications by October-end and stop manual changes to revenue records.
Naidu ordered surveyed land parcels to receive blockchain protection within 45 days, with real-time integration from November 1.
The government also announced targets for rooftop solar, skills training, literacy, school safety and technology-enabled healthcare.
