Mundhe, a 2005-batch Maharashtra cadre IAS officer, cracked the UPSC exam in 2004 with All India Rank 20 and has reportedly been transferred around 25 times in over two decades.
On 12 August, the FDA launched a statewide inspection of 434 licensed Ayurvedic drug manufacturers under the Drugs and Cosmetics Act, 1940.
