Police in the Indian state of Assam found an illegal slaughterhouse.

A slaughterhouse is a place where animals are killed for meat.

This one was operating without permission, so the police raided it early in the morning.

They found cows, buffaloes, and meat that might be beef.

The police took the animals and meat away with them.

They arrested one person named Asab Ali.

Two other people, Noor Ali and Noor Zaman, are still being looked for.

The leader of the state, Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma, said the state has zero tolerance for this kind of activity.
