60 kg rotten meat seized at Kachiguda slaughterhouse in Hyderabad

Police in a big city called Hyderabad work hard to make sure the food people eat is safe.

One day, they got a secret tip that a slaughterhouse was keeping bad meat.

A slaughterhouse is a place where animals are turned into meat for people to eat.

The police went to the Kamala slaughterhouse in the Kachiguda area to check.

There, they found 60 kg of rotten meat stored in a warehouse on the property.

That is a lot of meat, as heavy as a few big dogs.

The meat was bad, so the police poured a strong liquid called phenyl over it to destroy it.

That way, nobody could eat the rotten meat and get sick.

The police also registered a case against the owner, whose name is Akhil, for breaking food safety rules.

They said they will keep taking strict action against people who store and sell unsafe food.
