Bengal police bust sex racket, rescue women in Paschim Medinipur

SP Papia Sultana said the district police will maintain a zero tolerance policy towards human trafficking and will tighten surveillance on hotels.
Based on a tip-off received on 4 August, police arrested Ashish Singha Roy, alias Rakesh, and recovered 9.738 kg of suspected stolen silver.
In a separate operation, Daspur police rescued nine cattle allegedly being transported for illegal slaughter and arrested two men.
