Five Bangladeshis, Indian Alleged Tout Arrested in Malda Operations
Police and the Border Security Force arrested six people in Malda, India.
Five of them are from Bangladesh, and one is Indian.
Two people were stopped after police said they were moving suspiciously.
One of the two, Ripon Biswas, is suspected of helping people cross the border illegally.
A court ordered that Biswas and Manik stay in police custody for five days.

Manik alias Royal and Ripon Biswas were intercepted while allegedly moving suspiciously at Bhabanipur on Tuesday evening.
Police suspect Biswas, an Indian resident, was facilitating Bangladeshis’ illegal movement across the international border.
A court remanded Manik and Biswas to five days of police custody on Wednesday.
Four other Bangladeshi nationals were sent to Malda’s holding centre after a joint police-BSF raid.
