Mahindra BE 07 EV Set for August 15 India Launch

Mahindra is a car company in India.

It makes a line of electric cars called born-electric.

Electric cars run on batteries instead of petrol.

Mahindra is launching a new electric SUV called the BE 07.

The launch is expected on August 15.

The BE 07 will be bigger than an earlier electric car Mahindra made, called the BE 6.

The BE 6 had a sporty, sloped rooftop shape.

That made its back seats feel a bit cramped and less practical.

The new BE 07 is expected to have a more normal, boxy SUV shape.

That means people sitting in the back should have noticeably more room.
