Farmers grow the food we eat, but sometimes they owe money to banks for seeds, tools, and other things they need.

In a place called Beed district, the government started a special program to help these farmers.

The program is called the Punyashlok Ahilyadevi Holkar Farmers' Debt Relief Scheme-2026.

Under this program, the government pays off some of the farmers' loans for them.

So far, the government has sent ₹90.75 crore directly into the bank accounts of 13,110 farmers.

The government has set aside up to ₹711 crore to help farmers in Beed district.

Some farmers still need to finish their Aadhaar authentication, which is like confirming who they are with their ID, before they can get the money.

Once they finish that step, the money will go straight to their bank accounts.

After getting the help, farmers can also borrow new money to grow crops in the kharif season.

This gives them a fresh start for their farms.
