Imagine you are young and want to start saving and investing money.

A report from WazirX, which is like a big shop for digital money called cryptocurrency, studied how young people in India invest.

It found that many young people, known as Gen Z, start their investing journey with cryptocurrency.

About 44 out of every 100 Gen Z investors on WazirX began investing this way.

Gen Z made up 72 out of every 100 new investors in the first half of 2026.

They like to spread their money across different kinds of crypto, not just fun meme coins.

Only 16 out of every 100 units of their money goes to meme coins.

Most of their money goes to useful types of crypto, like tools for online payments.

Many of them keep buying even when prices drop.

This shows that young investors are careful and patient, not just chasing quick fun.
