The weather department has issued an orange alert for seven districts.

This means some places could receive very heavy rain within one day.

Seven other districts have received a yellow alert for heavy rain.

More districts are expected to remain under yellow alert on Tuesday.

Four districts will remain under yellow alert on Wednesday.

Officials have warned people in areas at risk of landslides and floods.

They may need to move to safer places if authorities tell them to.
