The Supreme Court held a special hearing about restrictions on transport in Delhi during a protest.

A lawyer says officials did not follow an earlier court direction about keeping metro and train services from being completely stopped.

The court said it would listen to all the lawyers and try to prevent inconvenience.

The judges also said they understood that people were upset about what happened the day before.

The protest was called by the Cockroach Janta Party and some student groups.

They were protesting the chief election commissioner over alleged problems in how the Election Commission was working.

In a separate petition, a lawyer asked the court to consider the detention of political leaders.
