Tamil Nadu CM Moves Office from Fort St George

The Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, C Joseph Vijay, is moving his office from the historic Fort St George to a new, sea-facing office on the 10th floor of the Namakkal Kavingar Maaligai building.

This move is happening because the current office is too small, and the new location will be more spacious and modern.

Several other offices, like those in the Department of Information and Public Relations, will also be moving to different parts of the Secretariat complex.

This isn't the first time a Chief Minister has moved offices; previous leaders like Karunanidhi and Jayalalithaa have also changed office locations.

Some people think it's important to keep the office at Fort St George because it's a historic building, while others believe the move will make the government work better.
