Delhi has started a new program called the Delhi Lakshmi Yojana.

It will give eligible women Rs 2,500 every month.

Women must be between 21 and 60 years old.

The savings could help women prepare for emergencies.

Some women said the money could help them buy personal items, pay medical costs or save.
