MLA urges national flag on every house at Tiranga rally

Every year, India celebrates Independence Day, a day when the country became free.

A group called the BJP held a special parade called 'Har Ghar Tiranga,' which means 'a flag in every home.'

The parade took place in a town called Asifabad.

Students and young people joined in and carried little national flags.

Before the parade started, the students sang a patriotic song called 'Vande Mataram' together.

A leader named Dr Palvai Harish Babu told everyone to put the national flag on their houses.

He said this shows how much people love their country.

The Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, asked people all over India to do this, so many towns are holding these parades.
