More than two dozen people were hurt, and some pilgrims set the SUV on fire.

In Kukshi, a tractor-trolley carrying pilgrims fell from a bridge.

One person died and nearly 20 were injured there.

Police said the tractor may have crashed because its brakes failed.

In Shajapur, a car hit an electric pole, which fell on walking pilgrims and killed a woman.
