A big truck was driving on the wrong side of the road and crashed into a small van.

The accident happened on a highway in Badnawar, Madhya Pradesh, on a Sunday afternoon.

Six people in the van died in the crash.

They were on their way home to Vadodara after visiting a famous temple called Mahakaleshwar in Ujjain.

The truck was carrying iron and was driving toward Ujjain on the wrong side of the road.

The truck driver ran away after the crash.

Two of the bodies were stuck inside the crushed van and had to be cut out carefully with a grinder.

Local villagers helped the police get the bodies out.

Police told the victims' families in Gujarat about what happened.

The bodies were taken to Badnawar Civil Hospital for doctors to examine.
