Court Rejects Anantababu's Interim Bail Plea in Murder Case
A man named Anantababu is a member of a government group called the Andhra Pradesh Legislative Council.
He is accused of being involved in the murder of his former car driver, Veedhi Subramanyam.
Anantababu asked a judge for permission to leave jail for a short time, which is called interim bail.
He wanted to attend a meeting of the Legislative Council that started on Monday.
A judge named Junaid Ahmed Moulana heard his request.
A lawyer for the government, Muppala Subba Rao, said the judge should not allow it.
The judge agreed with the lawyer and said no to the bail request.
So Anantababu will not be able to attend the meeting.
