Ahmedabad Woman Sends Rakhi to Uttarakhand Chief Minister Dhami
Dhangauri Baroliya lives in Ahmedabad and wanted to celebrate Raksha Bandhan with Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami.
She had met him during floods in Dharali last year.
At that time, she did not have a Rakhi.
She used part of her dupatta and tied it around his wrist.
Since then, she considers him her Dharma brother.
Dhangauri said Dhami gave hope to people trapped by the disaster.
This year, she sent him a proper Rakhi and a letter.
She said their meeting is a memory she will always treasure.
Dhangauri Baroliya of Ahmedabad sent a Rakhi and emotional letter to Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami.
She recalled meeting Dhami after becoming stranded in floods in Dharali during her visit to Uttarakhand last year.
When she had no Rakhi, Dhangauri tied a small piece of her dupatta around Dhami’s wrist.
Dhangauri said she has considered Dhami her Dharma brother since that meeting.
She said Dhami encouraged stranded people during the disaster and sent this year’s Rakhi from Ahmedabad.
