Nara Lokesh opened two improved government schools in Nellore.

One school is in Stonehousepet, and the other is in Moolapet.

The schools now have better classrooms, digital screens, laboratories and libraries.

Students also have rooms for art, music and languages.

New playgrounds and sports courts were added.

The improvements cost more than ₹21.7 crore in total, although reports give slightly different figures for the DSR school.

Lokesh asked staff to increase enrolment, attendance and learning results.

He also encouraged parents to choose government schools for their children.
