European Heat Wave: Austrian Temperature Record, Italian Red Alerts

Europe is having a very big heat wave, which means the weather is much hotter than normal.

In Italy, all the major cities were put on the highest heat alert, which is like a big red warning flag telling people to be careful.

Austria set a new record for its hottest temperature ever.

The hot weather also caused wildfires in France, which are fires that spread quickly in dry places.

In several countries, the temperature went above 40 degrees Celsius, which is more than 100 degrees Fahrenheit.
