80-Year-Old Woman Killed After House Collapses During Rain in Meerut

In a city called Meerut, it rained a lot.

An old house fell down during the rain.

An 80-year-old grandmother named Jaitoon was inside that house.

She was the wife of a man named Majeed.

Sadly, she died when the house collapsed on her.

Another woman, who is 25 years old, got hurt.

Neighbors came quickly to help rescue people trapped under the broken house.

The police also arrived right away.

The hurt woman was taken to the district hospital for treatment.

The weather office said Meerut got 10 millimeters of rain, and the minimum temperature was 25 degrees Celsius.
