Karnataka Publishes Draft Electoral Roll, Final Roll October 27
Karnataka: SIR Draft Published In Karnataka, Final Publication On October 27 · deccanchronicle.com

Karnataka has published a temporary voter list called a draft electoral roll.

Officials checked voter information by visiting homes between June 30 and August 17.

The draft includes about 4.46 crore general voters.

More than 1.07 crore names were not included because people were absent, had moved, had died, were already listed, or fell into another category.

Being marked this way does not automatically mean a person has permanently lost their place on the voter list.

Officials must send notices, conduct inquiries and give affected people a fair chance to provide documents.

People can file claims or objections between August 24 and September 23.

The final voter list is expected to be published on October 27, 2026.
