Thane DP Road Faces Land Hurdle as Bansode Seeks Consensus
Thane's 780-Metre DP Road Project Hits Land Acquisition Hurdle, Bansode Seeks Amicable Resolution · freepressjournal.in

Thane plans to build a new road in the Kasarvadavali-Mogarpada area.

The road will be 780 metres long.

Officials have obtained land for only about 180 metres so far.

They need to acquire land for the remaining 600 metres.

Some local residents have opposed taking possession of that land.

Deputy Speaker Anna Bansode asked officials to speak with residents and understand their concerns.

She wants the project completed with the residents’ cooperation.

Officials may seek police assistance if necessary, while the municipal corporation has been asked to ensure the contractor finishes on time.
