PMC Begins Land Acquisition for Pune’s Kharadi Road Network

The Pune Municipal Corporation has begun acquiring land for roads linking Sinhagad Road and Kharadi.
The plan covers a 36-metre road and a 30-metre road near Kharadi, Mahalakshmi Lawns and Javalkar Udyan.
Around 9,700 square metres of land is required, with estimated acquisition costs of ₹90.50 crore.
The PMC has deposited ₹27.14 crore, or 30% of the estimated acquisition cost, with the Special Land Acquisition Officer-II, Pune.
The acquisition is expected by November-end, while officials at a district meeting directed completion of the proposal by December-end.
