Vadodara is getting a new station for India’s bullet train network.
The station will be built above Platform 7 of the existing railway station.
This will let passengers change more easily between bullet trains, regular trains and buses.
Three special bridges will help people move between the different transport areas.
The longest bridge will be 534 metres and will have moving walkways called travelators.
Another bridge will connect the station with Alkapuri.
A third bridge will connect it with parking and the station plaza.
The station is expected to make travel easier for students, workers and visitors going to cities such as Ahmedabad, Surat and Mumbai.
The upcoming Vadodara bullet train station is being built above Platform 7 of Vadodara railway station.
It will connect high-speed rail with Indian Railways, Western Railway, road transport and the central bus depot.
A 534-metre Foot Over Bridge with travelators will link the station to the railway station and GSRTC Central Bus Depot.
