Naidu Inaugurates E3 Seed Access Road, Bridge Connecting Amaravati
The leader in charge of a big state in India opened a brand-new road and a bridge.
The road helps people travel to a new city that is still being built.
The city is called Amaravati.
The road is very long and very wide, with room for many cars and buses.
It also has special bus lanes, paths for bicycles, sidewalks for walking, and lots of trees.
A steel bridge was built over a canal so cars can cross the water.
Building the road and the bridge cost a lot of money.
Now, travel between two nearby cities will be faster and less crowded.
The government plans to build many more roads in the future.
This will make it easier for everyone to get around the new city.
Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu inaugurated the E3 seed access road and a steel bridge in Guntur district.
The 22-km road, built at a cost of Rs 1,520 crore, connects Dondapadu village with National Highway 16 (NH-16).
The 60-metre-wide, nine-lane road is being developed in three phases with a Bus Rapid Transit System corridor and service roads.
A four-lane, 478-metre steel bridge was built over the Buckingham Canal in Undavalli village to link the road to the Vijayawada-Mangalagiri highway.
The project aims to improve connectivity from Vijayawada to the greenfield capital city and ease congestion on the narrow 'karakatta' road near the Krishna River.
