Faridabad Station Work Disrupts Trains; Nine Cancelled, 20 Skip Stops
Faridabad railway station is being rebuilt and improved.
The work will last for about 45 days.
During this time, some trains will not run at all.
Nine train services are scheduled to be cancelled.
Reports also say that 20 other trains will pass Faridabad without stopping.
Some trains may have their usual stops or platforms changed.
One train will be delayed by 45 minutes between Palwal and Faridabad New Town.
These changes are needed because railway workers will block some tracks and power systems while working.
Redevelopment work at Faridabad railway station will affect train services for around 45 days.
Nine train services are scheduled for cancellation, mainly from September 1 to October 15, 2026.
Reports say 20 other trains will operate without stopping at Faridabad during the work period.
A power and traffic block will affect Platforms 2 and 3, corresponding to Lines 4 and 5.
Train operations will also face stoppage changes, platform changes and a 45-minute regulation for one service.
