Janmashtami Celebrated With Devotion Across Vijayawada

People in Vijayawada and NTR district celebrated Janmashtami, the festival marking Lord Krishna’s birth.

They visited temples and joined special prayers.

Priests performed an Abhishekam using five traditional ingredients at a major Vijayawada temple.

A Go Puja was also held, and cows were fed afterward.

The ISKCON Temple organised devotional songs and spiritual programmes.

Students at Vikas Group of Institutions dressed as Krishna and Radha and performed dances.

They also enjoyed a traditional Utti-breaking celebration.
