Srikrishna Janmashtami Celebrations Draw Devotees Across Godavari Districts
People across several Godavari districts celebrated the birth of Lord Krishna.
They visited temples from early in the morning.
Priests performed special prayers and bathing ceremonies for the idols.

People also sang bhajans and held cultural programmes.
Many places organised a traditional celebration called Utti Mahotsavam.
