Delhi Draft Electoral Roll Excludes 47.7 Lakh Electors
Delhi has published a temporary voter list called a draft electoral roll.
It includes about 97.5 lakh voters.
About 47.7 lakh names are missing from this first version.
Officials marked these names as absent, shifted, dead, duplicate or otherwise uncollectable.
The list was prepared after workers checked voter information through house-to-house visits.
People whose names are missing can apply to be added using Form 6 and supporting documents.
They must submit their claims by September 30, 2026.
Officials will examine the claims and publish the final voter list on November 4, 2026.
Delhi’s draft electoral roll excludes 47,56,722 of the city’s 1,45,10,299 electors.
The excluded names were marked “uncollectable” under the Absent, Shifted, Dead, Duplicate and Others categories.
The draft roll includes 97,53,577 electors whose enumeration forms were received and digitised.
Eligible electors left out can file Form 6 claims with supporting documents by September 30, 2026.
Claims and objections will be processed through October 29, with the final roll scheduled for November 4, 2026.
