Madhya Pradesh GRP Plans Super 30 Cheetah Marathon Squad
The Government Railway Police wants to create a team of 30 athletic police officers.
The team will be called the “Super 30 Cheetah” squad.
Police units in Bhopal, Indore and Jabalpur will each choose 10 members.
The members will train for marathons and other championships.
They may compete at state, national and international events.
The police department plans to provide better facilities and special food.
Trainers and experts may also help them improve.
This idea follows a marathon held during police training in Rewa.
In that race, 28 of 410 constables finished the 42-kilometre course on time.
