New SAF Battalion Coming to Khandwa, Says Madhya Pradesh CM

Some very important police leaders in a place called Madhya Pradesh, in India, have big news.

The leader of the state, Chief Minister Mohan Yadav, said a new group of special police soldiers called the SAF battalion will be set up soon in a district named Khandwa.

He also said three new units of the State Industrial Security Force will be created.

Many police officers are being promoted to higher ranks.

More than 27,000 police officers and workers got promotions.

Some special police teams will be made up of young people from tribes called Baiga, Bharia, and Sahariya.

The state has hired more than 14,000 new police officers since 2023.

Right now, about 9,751 more people are being chosen for police jobs.

The Chief Minister also praised famous police figures like National Security Advisor Ajit Doval.
