Maruti Suzuki Commissions Green Hydrogen Plant at Manesar
Maruti Suzuki has started a small plant that makes green hydrogen at its Manesar factory.
The plant uses electricity from solar power that might otherwise go unused on holidays.
An electrolyser uses that electricity to produce hydrogen.
The hydrogen will be stored and later used during vehicle manufacturing.
The project is meant to help reduce pollution from the company’s factories.
Maruti plans to study the pilot project before expanding the technology.
