Trekking leader swept away in Kullu stream found dead
A trekking group leader named Dhananjay Verma was swept away by strong currents in a stream called Majhach Nala in Kullu district, Himachal Pradesh.
This happened on Saturday while the group was returning from a trek.
The police and rescue teams searched for him, and his body was found near the Beas River the next day.
Authorities are reminding everyone to be careful during the monsoon season because water levels in mountain streams can rise suddenly.
Dhananjay's brother identified the body, and it will be given to the family after some legal steps are completed.

Rescue operations were launched by the Manali Police, SDRF, and NDRF.
Verma's body was recovered from the banks of the Beas River near Vashisht on Sunday.
