Delhi Airport Third Runway Reopens September 20 After Upgrade
Delhi Airport has finished improving one of its runways.
The runway is called 11R/29L, or the airport’s third runway.

They also built a special taxiway so planes can leave the runway more quickly.
Airport lighting and other systems were upgraded as well.

The changes are expected to increase capacity, improve aircraft movement and reduce runway occupancy time.
