Heavy rain fell in Delhi on Friday afternoon.

Water collected on roads and entrance areas near two airport terminals.

Some water also entered the terminals, but it was cleared later.

Bad weather caused at least nine flights to change their destinations.

Officials said four flights went to Jaipur and Lucknow, and one went to Ahmedabad.

More than 400 other flights were delayed.

The weather office had warned that heavy rain, thunder, lightning and strong winds could occur.

Delhi airport is very busy and handles more than 1,300 flight movements each day.
