IMD Forecasts Heavy Rain Across India Over Next Seven Days
India’s weather department says many parts of the country may get a lot of rain over the next seven days.
Some areas could receive very heavy rain.
The Andaman & Nicobar Islands are expected to be one of the wettest places on 18 September.
Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh may also see heavy rain.
Several eastern and northeastern states are likely to remain wet.

Overall, the monsoon has produced less rain than usual so far this season.
