Indian Railways Invests Rs 56,000 Crore in Rajasthan
Indian Railways is spending a lot of money to improve train travel in Rajasthan.
The work includes upgrading stations and adding better facilities for passengers.
Eighty-five stations are being redeveloped under the Amrit Bharat Station programme.
Jaipur Railway Station is receiving a separate upgrade costing Rs 717 crore.
It will have another entrance, new footbridges, lifts and escalators.
Some facilities will be air-conditioned to make travel more comfortable.
The station will also use solar power, collect rainwater and improve waste disposal.
A new terminal will help maintain many kinds of trains, including Vande Bharat and other train rakes.
