Assam flood toll rises to 98, over 1.55 lakh affected
In Assam, flood water from rivers has covered many towns and villages.
The flood has been very dangerous, and sadly 98 people have died.

Assam's flood death toll rose to 98 after a new fatality was reported from the Mahmora revenue circle in Charaideo district.
The number of affected people dipped to 1,55,849 across 13 districts, 33 revenue circles and 464 villages, from over 1.68 lakh in 15 districts on Thursday.
Golaghat was the worst-hit district with 58,750 people affected, followed by Sivasagar (48,286) and Jorhat (25,259).
