Aayush Hospitals Organises Walkathon to Promote Organ Donation

Organ donation means giving parts of your body, like a kidney or liver, to help sick people live after you don't need them anymore.

A hospital in Vijayawada, called Aayush Hospitals, organised a big walk to teach people about it.

The walk happened on World Organ Donation Day, a special day to talk about how donating organs can save lives.

A local leader named Gadde Rammohan Rao started the walk.

He said organ donation is a kind act that gives people a second chance at life.

A doctor at the hospital explained that one person who donates organs can help many people.

The hospital asked everyone to share two messages: 'One Donor – Many Lives' and 'Be an Organ Donor.

Be a Life Saver.'

Many doctors, students, and community members marched together to encourage everyone to pledge their organs.
