Rajnath Singh to Launch T-72 Tank Overhaul Project
Defence Minister Rajnath Singh is visiting Jabalpur on Thursday.
He will start a project to repair and modernise T-72 Army tanks.
The ceremony will happen at the Vehicle Factory Jabalpur.
These tanks are also called Ajeya.
The work is intended to help the tanks remain useful for longer.
It will also help keep the Army ready to respond to threats.
Chief Minister Mohan Yadav will attend the visit.
Singh will later leave Jabalpur for New Delhi.
A separate youth programme in the city will connect young people with Prime Minister Narendra Modi virtually.
