Adani Ports Reaches Record 50 Million Tonnes in August

Adani Ports moves goods through ports in India and other countries.

In August, it handled 50 million tonnes of cargo, its highest amount ever in one month.

This was 19% more than in August last year.

Dry goods, such as minerals, grew strongly, and container shipments also increased.

Ports in India, Australia, Sri Lanka and Tanzania helped add to the total.

The company handled 234.4 million tonnes during the first five months of FY27.

India’s economy, manufacturing and services also grew during the period.

Adani Ports wants to handle 1 billion tonnes of cargo each year by FY31.
