This was 19% more than in August last year.

Ports in India, Australia, Sri Lanka and Tanzania helped add to the total.

The company handled 234.4 million tonnes during the first five months of FY27.

India’s economy, manufacturing and services also grew during the period.

Adani Ports wants to handle 1 billion tonnes of cargo each year by FY31.
