Two Get Seven-Year Jail Term in Kadapa Murder Case
Two men were sent to prison for seven years because a judge found that they hurt a man who later died.
The trouble began over money for cutting teak trees.
The accused men's family said they should be paid more than the agreed amount.
After the argument, the men and their father went to the victim's house and attacked him.
The man was badly hurt and was taken to a hospital called Kadapa RIMS.
Sadly, the doctors there declared him dead.
The victim's mother complained to the police, and a case was registered.
A judge examined the evidence and decided the two men were guilty of murder.
Their father was let free because the court could not prove he did anything wrong.
So now the two men must stay in prison for seven years.
A Kadapa district court sentenced P. Manindra and P. Nagendra to seven years in prison for a 2023 murder.
The two men were convicted under Section 302 read with Section 34 of the IPC.
Co-accused P. Srinivasulu (A1) was acquitted because the prosecution failed to establish his guilt.
The dispute began over tree-cutting wages — Rs 600 was agreed but an additional Rs 300 was allegedly demanded.
