After the bad thing happened, the young man ran away.
He drove off in his auto-rickshaw, which is a small taxi.
He threw the knife into a lake to hide it.
The police found him and arrested him.
They also found the knife in the lake.
Now a judge will decide what happens next.
Hyderabad police arrested 21-year-old auto-rickshaw driver Endravath Suman for allegedly stabbing Md Fasi Ahmed Ameer to death.
The killing allegedly stemmed from a long-standing grudge over a Rs 10,000 loan dispute and frequent quarrels.
The attack took place on Tuesday in Singareni Colony under the Saidabad police station limits.
The victim suffered knife injuries to his neck, head and other parts of the body.
Police recovered the knife from Saroor Nagar lake with help from the Disaster Response Force (HYDRAA) and produced the accused before court for judicial remand.
