A court in Kukatpally sentenced three men to life in prison for a murder from 16 years ago.

The victim was Mohan Naidu.

Police said Mohan had taken Rs.20,000 from one accused to help arrange a house.

The house was not arranged, and the money was allegedly not returned.

Police said this led to threats and a quarrel.

On December 14, 2010, the three men allegedly took Mohan to KPHB 4th Phase.

Police said one man shot him while the other two held him.

The body was later hidden and buried, and the crime was uncovered after police stopped the accused in a car with a pistol.
