Punjab Police Arrest Passia’s Mother in Amritsar Grenade Case
Police in Punjab arrested Bhupinder Kaur after grenades were thrown at a home in Amritsar.
She is the mother of Harpreet Singh, also called Happy Passia.

Punjab Police arrested Bhupinder Kaur, the mother of alleged Babbar Khalsa International operative Harpreet Singh, also known as Happy Passia.
The arrest followed an attack in which two grenades were thrown at Daljeet Singh’s residence near Ramdass in Amritsar on Thursday night.
Two family members were injured, and police said two suspects had been identified in connection with the attack.
Passia’s sister, Kirandeep Kaur, is absconding, according to police.
Police allege Passia has been linked to at least 14 attacks in Punjab and was arrested by the Federal Bureau of Investigation in April 2025.
