NCCF Targets 24% Turnover Growth on Expanded Farm Procurement
The National Cooperative Consumers’ Federation wants to grow its business next year.
It expects to make about Rs 17,200 crore in FY27.
Much of its work involves buying crops such as pulses, oilseeds, onions, wheat and paddy from farmers.
The government may increase this crop-buying work under its Price Support Scheme.
NCCF bought more than 2 million tonnes of farm goods from 5.5 million farmers in FY26.
It also buys maize for factories that make ethanol.
The federation wants more money to come from selling farm products privately and through retail stores.
It plans to increase its own outlets from 34 to as many as 45.
NCCF also sells consumer goods under the brand name Janah.
NCCF is targeting turnover of Rs 17,200 crore in FY27, up from Rs 13,908 crore in FY26.
The federation’s FY26 turnover rose 68% from Rs 8,270 crore in FY25, while net profit reached Rs 180 crore.
NCCF purchased more than 2 million tonnes of commodities from 5.5 million farmers across 10 states in FY26.
The federation expects retail and private agricultural trading to contribute about 40% of revenue within five years.
NCCF plans to expand its outlets from 34 to 40-45 by the end of FY27 and promote its Janah consumer-goods brand.
