Mumbai Monsoon Continues: Moderate Rain, Gusty Winds, No IMD Alert

Mumbai is a big city in India where it rains a lot during the monsoon season.

On Friday and Saturday morning, the city woke up to rain, cloudy skies, and strong winds.

Some parts of Mumbai got moderate to heavy showers overnight, which helped keep things cool.

The weather experts at the India Meteorological Department did not put out any rain warning for the weekend.

That means the rain is not expected to be dangerous or too heavy.

They said the city will have cloudy skies with some moderate showers and occasional thunderstorms.

The wind will blow at about 40 to 50 kilometers per hour, with stronger gusts of up to 60 kilometers per hour during heavy rain.

Temperatures are expected to stay around 31 to 32 degrees Celsius.

The rain also cleaned the air, so the air quality in Mumbai is very good right now.

People living in low-lying areas were told to be careful because sudden heavy showers could cause waterlogging.
