India’s Largest-Ever Team Set for WorldSkills Shanghai 2026
India is sending its biggest team ever to a major international skills competition.
The team has 70 members.
They will compete in Shanghai starting September 22, 2026.
Competitors will take part in 63 different skill categories.
India will enter 11 new technology-focused areas for the first time.
These include drones, software testing, and making dental prosthetics.
Jindal Steel Limited is helping support the team.
Naveen Jindal wished the competitors success and encouraged them to make India proud.
A 70-member Team Skill India contingent will represent India at WorldSkills Competition 2026 in Shanghai.
The competition begins September 22, 2026, and covers 63 skill categories.
India will compete for the first time in 11 future-ready domains, including Drone Technology, Software Testing, and Dental Prosthetics.
