Modi to Inaugurate SEMICON India 2026 on September 17
SEMICON India 2026 is a large event about computer chips and electronic technology.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will open it on September 17.
It will take place in New Delhi and last three days.
Companies, researchers, students, governments and start-ups will attend.
More than 600 exhibitors will show their work.
Visitors will learn how materials become chips and how chips are used in electronic systems.
The event will also include competitions for start-ups and students.
Speakers will discuss making chips, training workers and building stronger supply chains.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate SEMICON India 2026 on September 17 at Yashobhoomi in New Delhi.
The three-day event will run from September 17 to 19 under the theme “Silicon to Systems: Building the Ecosystem.”
More than 600 exhibitors, including about 300 international companies, will occupy 15,000 square metres of exhibition space.
The event will include six country pavilions, 12 state pavilions, a startup pavilion and workforce-development platforms.
Discussions will cover semiconductor manufacturing, artificial intelligence, supply chains, packaging, chip design, research, innovation and talent.
